1. Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

A. Merchant Information

To manage your account and provide our services, we collect:

  • Identity Data: Full name of the legal representative (Abdo Enrique Barrera Contreras), username, and ID number.

  • Contact Data: Email address and phone number.

  • Business Data: Legal name (Kaumer S.A.S., NIT: 900.779.183-8), physical address (Calle 9 no. 19A – 14, Valledupar – Cesar), website, Instagram profile, and employee count.

B. Customer Information (Your End-Users)

To power your loyalty programs and smart messaging, we collect the following data from your customers:

  • Profile Data: Names, phone numbers (specifically for WhatsApp/SMS), email addresses, and birth dates.

  • Transaction History: Order history from the last 6 months to calculate loyalty points and rewards.

  • Referral Data: Information about friends or family members referred by your customers via the Customer Portal.

C. Technical & Usage Data

  • Cookies: We use functional cookies to maintain user sessions and ensure the App operates correctly.

  • Analytics: We use Mixpanel to collect information on how you interact with the App to improve our user experience.


2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the information we collect from you and your customers to:

  • Provide the Service: To synchronize loyalty points, manage referral programs, and enable the Customer Portal.

  • Automated Communications: To send automated messages via WhatsApp, Email, and SMS (powered by AWS SNS and WhatsApp Business API).

  • Omnichannel Support: To allow you to visualize and manage customer conversations via Chatwoot.

  • Smart Automation: We process data through a self-hosted instance of n8n on our own AWS servers to activate AI-driven personalization and workflows.


3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We only share personal information with third-party service providers necessary to provide our services:

  • AWS (Amazon Web Services): For data storage, n8n self-hosting, and sending SMS/Emails.

  • Meta/WhatsApp: To deliver messages through the official WhatsApp Business API.

  • Chatwoot: To provide the dashboard for customer conversation management.

  • Mixpanel: To analyze App usage and performance.

We do not sell your personal information or your customers’ data to third parties.


4. Data Retention and Deletion

  • During Service: We retain data as long as the App is installed on your Shopify store.

  • Upon Uninstallation: If you uninstall the App, we have a strict policy to delete all associated Merchant and Customer data within 48 hours, unless required otherwise by law.

  • Customer Rights: Your customers have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of their data. We provide tools for Merchants to honor these requests promptly.


5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.
